I’m a multimedia journalist, author and documentary filmmaker from India, based in New York City. As a post-production assistant at People’s Television, I edit videos for nonprofit clients like the National Urban League, Smithsonian Institution and the Elizabeth Dole Foundation and create vertical videos for social media. I also freelance with Christie’s, York and Wilder, and Soul Palace Studios as video editor.

In 2023, I moved to the United States to pursue a Master’s in Journalism with a specialization in Documentary at Columbia Journalism School. My work as a co-director on the short documentary METTLE was awarded the 2025 Pulitzer Reporting Fellowship. It also received “Best Student Work” at the International Sport Film Festival (Italy), “Young Emerging Filmmaker” at the Newburyport Documentary Film Festival, and an Honorable Mention at the Gary Corcoran Student Prize for Excellence in Reporting on Disability.

Previously, I worked as a producer in India for Unfiltered Productions and Jist News where I reported on state and national elections, produced ground reports from rural India, and covered major events such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the 2020 Delhi riots.

Driven by a passion for nonfiction, I am committed to storytelling that combines empathy, authenticity, and creativity.
